Our flue gas fans designed as chimney top fans safely blow flue gas to the chimney head by means of vacuum, if the natural draft is not sufficient. Thus they prevent from unhealthy and dirty combustion products in living rooms, conservatory or basement. Also sooting can be prevented in many cases. Bypass fans that suck part of the exhaust gases, accelerate and blow them towards the chimney end, accomplish the same task. Specifically for use in the industry, we have developed powerful main current fans.

Chimney top fans
Certainly good air
Chimney top fans are mounted on the chimney and can be used for all standard heating and combustion installations. Specifically, they are good for fireplaces, oil and gas boilers, solid fuel boilers, individual stoves or furnaces, barbecue stoves, smoking ovens and blacksmith pits.
The centrifugal flue gas fan is powered by an electric motor which is located outside the flow. Flowing combustion gases are sucked from the chimney in axial direction by the high performance centrifugal impeller, diverted by 90 ° in the impeller and blown out horizontally at the chimney head, below the motor support plate, to all sides. The standard devices provide flows up to 2,500 m³ per hour / 1,500 cfm at low to medium pressure increase. Larger devices are available. The temperature-resistant special construction allows an operating temperature of 250 ° C / 480 ° F. For operating temperatures up to 350 ° C / 660 ° F the devices can be custom made.
Small chimney top fan
Our powerful junior
The chimney top fan KA-I Junior is our smallest flue gas fan. It is mounted on the chimney head and driven by an electric motor outside of the flow. Flowing combustion gases from the chimney are sucked by the high performance centrifugal impeller in axial direction, diverted by 90 ° in the impeller, and blown out of the chimney head horizontally below the motor base plate in two directions.
The temperature-resistant special construction of the KA-I junior allows an operating temperature of 250 ° C / 480 ° F. Fan casing and wheel are made entirely of stainless steel and guarantee a high protection against corrosion. The fan motor is a continuously adjustable, temperature-resistant special motor with temperature monitoring by thermal contacts. The KA-I Junior is easy to assemble and can be tilted for the chimney cleaning without tools at the top of the chimney.
Bypass fans
Reliable amplification
Our flue gas fans with function as draft amplifier are fitted in the chimney (bypass). They boost smoke and hot air and are suitable for boilers, dryers, chimneys and other fire places up to a temperature of 250 ° C / 480 ° F.
By means of these bypass ventilators a fraction of the exhaust gas is sucked by a fan, accelerated and blown out again towards the mouth of the chimney. If the fireplace, for example an oven, is not I use, the rooms can even be ventilated with this bypass fan.
Our bypass fans are driven by a special motor with heat transfer insulation, high temperature bearings and extended shaft. The protection class is IP 54 (drip-proof). The Cabinet is made of stainless steel or steel plate with heat-resistant paint.

Upon request, we design and produce also custom made designs, which can be used up to a temperature of 350 ° C / 660 ° F.
